Description: If you've ever admired the way sunlight streams through colored glass placed on a windowsill, this class is for you! Instructor Libby Hitchcock will provide a variety of colored glass circles and show you how to assemble a wind chime that will grace your yard with color and sound! Join us for a fun and easy Saturday morning workshop and leave with a beautiful product that you'll be proud to say, "I made that!"

Gallery 53: Kusama Bus Trip

Description: This is one hot ticket! "Kusama: Cosmic Nature" at the New York Botanical Garden is a major exhibition of the work of celebrated Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, including the Mirrored Infinity Room, Monumental Polka Dot Pumpkins, participatory greenhouse installation and more!

?Spend the day on your own enjoying the grounds.** Your "Kusama Plus Pass" includes entrance to all of the Kusama exhibits as well as the narrated tram throughout the garden. There is also a delightful gift shop and cafe!

We will request Proof of Vaccination.

The Hamden Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Hamden Economic Development Corporation are pleased to announce the Hamden Entrepreneurs Seminar Series to begin in September of 2021. This four-part series will cover a variety of important business topics for the success of your business.

This program is designed for all small businesses, from start-up to established businesses. The program is for Hamden residents who are thinking about opening a business in Hamden. Sessions will be held via ZOOM format from 8-9:30am. There is no cost for these sessions although we ask that participants make a non-perishable food or cash donation to the Hamden Food Bank. This program is being subsidized by United Illuminating.

The names of the agreements vary by business entity but the objective is the same- put it in writing to avoid contention.

Gallery 53: Arts Annual Harvest- 97th Annual Fall Art Show Artist Entries

Description: Gallery 53's Annual Fall Art Show generally features an eclectic mix of subjects, media, and techniques from regional artists. Paintings, drawings, photographs, and digital compositions will be accepted. Entries will be judged by talented Connecticut artist Karen Israel. Eight cash prizes will be awarded.

The show will be on exhibit in the gallery through the month of October. Plus, artists have the option of being included in the online store, and social media. To be included in the online exhibit, store and social media, artists can submit their work digitally after delivering their physical pieces to the gallery (NOTE: Gallery 53 takes a 30% commission).
