Beyond the Veil: A Paranormal Event

Friday, October 13, 2023 at 6:00 PM–10:00 PM
At Gallery 53

Description: All the forces are converging . . . it's Friday the 13th, right before Halloween in a 129-year-old building where there've been some pretty strange, inexplicable events!

Join us for "ParaExperience," a paranormal event, featuring Connecticut's leading paranormal practitioners, Thomas Patrick Gormley and Jenna Beth Rush. Together, this talented duo has over 30 years of experience going beyond the veil to communicate with spirits and using that communication to counsel the living and the dead. Their unique approach combines scientific equipment and counseling.

This spooky 2-part evening will feature a talk and tour. Tickets are available for the lecture only or for the lecture + tour. In the talk, Tom and Jenna Beth will relate their hair-raising experiences investigating paranormal activity and hauntings right here in Connecticut. This includes their investigation of and intervention for "Murder House," scene of a grisly murder years ago.

The talk will be followed by a Spirit Investigation Tour of 53 Colony Street to answer the question "is Gallery 53 haunted?" This will be an in-depth follow-up to a 2021 investigation that uncovered significant spirit activity, particularly in the basement. Participation in the tour is very limited and available for an additional cost.

As part of this otherworldly experience, we will feature several mediums, a tarot card reader, and an artisan showcase of paranormal-inspired handcrafted objects! Doors will open early, so you'll have plenty of time before the main event to meet and mingle with the practitioners. You'll also be able to browse the artisan showcase so you can buy your own little piece of "paranormalia" to take home.

Location Info: 53 Colony St., Meriden, CT

Contact Info: The cost is $20 for the lecture or $53 for the lecture + ghost investigation. Seating is limited. Click here for more information or to register.
