Spanish Classes Offered at SCOW

At Spanish Community of Wallingford - SCOW

Description: How many times have you wanted to learn or improve your Spanish? Well, here is your chance to start! We will be holding our first 5-week session, beginning January 28th, 2019. Come in to register at SCOW as soon as possible, because space is limited.

Instructor is Diana Grippen. $30 pp for 5 sessions. First Come, First Served as space is limited to 12 people.

Adult Choir Festival

Description: The Waterbury Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will sponsor an Adult Choir Festival on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 5:00 PM at St. Rose of Lima Church on 35 Center Street in Meriden, CT.

The music will feature Sacred and Secular music with anthems presented by are individual church choirs. Andrew Brochu will direct the festival.

There is no charge to attend.

AAC Complimentary Community Support Program for Family Recovery

Description: Be a part of our recovery group. We are a welcoming, honest support group created just for the families and friends of people struggling with addiction.

This is a free community service offered by American Addiction Centers. With coast-to-coast treatment options and a "whole person" approach to long-term recovery, American Addiction Centers has spent decades helping people recover from drug and alcohol addiction in specialized healing environments across the country. Connecticut Business Day at the LOB

Description: Join hundreds of business leaders at this annual event and share your business story with lawmakers. Legislators need to hear from the business community as they look to help employers grow the economy and create more jobs.

Check-in & networking: 7:30 am; followed by the program: 9-11 am; then time to visit your legislators: 11 am.

There is no fee to attend this program.

The morning begins with a welcome session, followed by breakouts that give you an opportunity to meet with your legislators and share your successes and challenges. Make your voice heard.
