Anxiety Workshop

Description: Do you, or someone you love, suffer with anxiety? Would you like to learn more about how to handle it? We can help!

The Franciscan Life Center is offering a six-week educational program under the direction of Dr. Thomas Finn, a clinical psychologist on staff. Dr. Finn will present:

* the biology of fear and anxiety

* the psychological roots of anxiety reactions

* controlled breathing and relaxation techniques

* thinking patterns that trigger anxiety and how to change those patterns

* building self-esteem

* assertive communication

Wine & Beer Tasting to Benefit Masonicare Residents and Patients in Need

Description: Helping Masonicare residents and patients in need has never tasted so good. Join us at the Masonicare Wine and Beer Tasting fundraiser on May 31, 2019, from 6:00 to 9:00pm. The proceeds from this event will help support Masonicare in a variety of ways, from funding music at worship services and dental care for our long-term residents at Masonicare Health Center to providing skilled nursing visits and medication organizers for patients of Masonicare Home Health & Hospice.

Bring along your family and friends to Masonicare at Ashlar Village in Wallingford to enjoy fine wines and beer, delicious food, live music, a raffle, and a live auction of select raffle prizes, all while supporting a wonderful cause. Even if you don't win a prize, you'll leave with a souvenir gift and great memories!

Description: All members are invited to join us for a Ribbon Cutting at Robyn's House at Women & Families Center.

Transitional Living Program: Robyn's House & Project REACH provides short term housing to homeless and unstably housed youth ages 18-22. Average length of stay is 18 months. Project REACH staff provide case management to young adults, including assessments; individual, group and family short term supportive counseling; referrals and service linkages; exit planning, including referral and linkage to independent housing and supports; educational support; service learning and recreational opportunities; and aftercare as young adults move from homelessness to a more independent, safe and stable environment.
