The Canada Dry distributorship, founded by Al and Ed Tomassetti, was an original sponsor of the Meriden Intermediate Baseball League and still supports many city youth leagues. Al Tomassetti, an original board member, was one of the league's founders. His sons Dan and Tony are the current co-owners and continue the sponsorship of the Intermediate League. They also supports teams in the Boys Club leagues and MASA softball, proud to continue their father's commitment to his community.
