The State Department of Economic & Community Development has launched a new website at (www.cerc.com/connedo.html) as a resource for economic developers throughout the state. The site provides state-by-state comparisons on the measures that businesses factor into location decisions; economic and demographic data; sample marketing documents, maps and business lists; job listings, opportunities for training and professional development; and links to other economic development organizations and resources. DECD created ConnEDO through its partnerships with the Connecticut Economic Resource Center, Northeast Utilities, United Illuminating and the Connecticut Economic Development Association.
Member News is provided as a service of the Midstate Chamber of Commerce and is also featured in the monthly "Chamber News" newsletter mailed to members.
