City of Meriden providing HUD Section 3 Workshop

The HUD CDBG Program requires that we make a good faith effort to provide training and employment opportunities to low- and very-low income residents when projects occur in their neighborhoods.To meet this requirement, we are conducting an informational workshop on HUD's Section 3 Program to encourage local construction contractors and businesses that provide support services to CDBG-funded housing rehabilitation or other construction projects to register as Section 3 businesses.
This notice was published today in the Record-Journal and also is posted on the City's website.
