Stop the Spread: Your Precautions are having and Impact

July 14, 2020

This information is being provided by the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.

Connecticut is one of only two states in the country that continues to see declining infection rates for COVID-19.

This is a direct result of residents and businesses embracing the rules and requirements to prevent the virus from spreading.

Still, the pandemic is not over and we need to remain vigilant. As we reopen, more of us will be out increasing the risk of virus spread. Let's continue to take the necessary precautions to protect ourselves and each other.

We have developed new signage that outlines the four consistent actions that help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Wear a mask

Practice social distancing

Wash your hands

Get tested

I encourage companies to use these signs, post or share them with your employees or networks and display them on-site at your business.

The Stop the Spread sign (available in English and Spanish) and other signage can be found here. click here.

Sincerely,

David Lehman, Commissioner
