Meriden Center Offers Cardiac Management Program

Meriden Center, a 130-bed skilled nursing facility located on 845 Paddock Avenue in Meriden, is pleased to recognize Cardiologist Dr George Spivak from Cardiology Associates of Central CT. Meriden Center offers a Cardiac Management Program to those that require recovery from a cardiac event. Under the direction of Medical Director Dr Benjamin Yeboah and Cardiologist Dr. George Spivak, patients can receive an individually designed recovery plan to help re-integrate into the community by developing a healthier life style. With heart healthy menu selections designed by Meriden Center's Registered Dietician, Physical Therapy, Social Service support, and Clinical Nursing Care, one can recover confidently at Meriden Center and return for a monthly Support Group meeting. We wanted to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Spivak for his dedicated service to Meriden Center over the last five (5) years.

In collaboration with Meriden Center's Cardiac Program, we offer on our Transitional Care Unit, the ability to recover from sub-acute illnesses including orthopedic surgeries. We accept most insurances, Medicare and Medicaid. As a 4 Star Rated Facility with CMS, one can confidently receive what is necessary to recover from a sub-acute illness and live a full and satisfied life.
