CT Transit Waterbury, Meriden, New Haven Service Changes, Effective Sunday Nov 5

CTtransit makes schedule changes periodically to improve the overall efficiency of its service. For detailed information about all changes, please refer to the updated timetable for your route under Schedules on the CTtransit website. 470 – Waterbury/Naugatuck Weekdays The schedule for Route 470 is being expanded to provide service all day on weekdays. Buses will now depart from North Main Street at Waterbury Green every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Return trips will depart Naugatuck Railroad Station every hour from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. 472 – New Haven Road - Straitsville Weekdays The 10:10 a.m. trip from downtown Naugatuck to New Haven Road and return will be discontinued. Customers will be accommodated by the 10:00 a.m. trip. The 3:00 p.m. trip from downtown Naugatuck to Crosspointe Plaza and return will be discontinued. Customers will be accommodated by the 3:20 p.m. trip. EXPANDED BUS SERVICE IS COMING TO MERIDEN Weekdays, Saturdays & Sundays Service on Meriden Routes 561, 563, 564, 565 & 566 is being expanded to operate 7 days a week including weeknights and Saturday nights. Please refer to an updated timetable for more information. 561 – Meriden Mall Route 561 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every 30 to 60 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. 563 – Yale Acres Route 563 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sundays. 564 – South Meriden Route 564 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. 565 – West Main Street Route 565 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. Buses will continue to provide service to Platt High School on a part-time basis. 566 – East Main Street Route 566 buses will now depart Meriden Transit Center every hour from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Buses will continue to provide service to Maloney High School, the Connecticut Depart of Children & Families and Corporate Court on a part-time basis. SCHEDULE MODIFICATIONS ARE COMING TO NEW HAVEN Intermediate timepoint adjustments will be made to the following routes on weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays, please refer to an updated timetable for trip-specific details: 255 - New Haven/Ansonia/Seymour 261 – Boston Post Road
