The CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply Excellence Award was established in 2003 to recognize the collision repair business that, through the course of everyday service excellence, exemplifies the professionalism necessary to build public understanding and respect for people working in collision repair today.

Award nominees were judged in all aspects of their business, including: mission/purpose statement; employee benefits and training; overall technical expertise of the collision center; customer relations, including insurance relationships; industry involvement; and community involvement. Kevin Nelson, CARQUEST national sales manager, PBE, recognized Sirois during the annual CARQUEST Collision Center Council Meeting Oct. 15-16 in Raleigh, N.C. "This award is the crowning achievement of years of working in the collision industry," Sirois said. "It's like a lifetime achievement award for my entire shop. I believe it really shows how highly our customers think of us and what can be done with hard work, honesty and years of training."

With more than 30 years experience in the collision industry, including 25 years as owner of Zoel's Body and Auto Center, Sirois is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR). He also is an Accredited Automotive Manager through the Automotive Management Institute. Zoel's Body and Auto Center has been recognized as an I-CAR Gold and ASE Blue Shield of Excellence facility, and in 1993, Zoel's Body and Auto Center was selected as the area's first DuPont Assurance of Quality facility.

CARQUEST Automotive Refinish Supply is a national paint, body and equipment (PBE) distributor with more than 1,000 distribution points. The full service supplier furnishes a complete line of PBE products and houses an inventory of 125,000 hard parts.
