Free Open D.O.H.R. Employment Training Program Enroll Ending Soon

January 13, 2015

The Open D.O.H.R. Employment Training Program is now accepting enrollment for: CAN/I-Best with classes beginning February 23rd; Human Service Assistant with classes beginning February 23rd; English for the Workplace with classes beginning January 26th. Each program includes: Occupational Training Course, 40-Hour Computer Applications Course, 40-Hour Employability Skills Course, 40-Hour Internship, Math and Language Arts Tutoring, Job Development and Placement, and Support to Obtain GED. Students must be at least 18 years old. TANF Eligible clients are encouraged to apply. All course materials are provided. CAN track includes Scrubs, Gait Belt and Watch. Training Certificates are given upon completion. Opportunities to attend Job Fairs and Monthly Events. For more information, contact Tanesha Hunter at 203-235-9297 at ext. 127 or 128.
