Robert Wielgosh has been honored as Teacher of the Year for his on-the-job approach to teaching. Mr. Wielgosh has impressed upon his students the importance of being on time, treating customers well, and dressing professionally. His students also admire him for his encouraging them to participate in community improvement projects and his assistance in student sports activities. Because he remembers all the demands on him when he was a student at Wilcox, he stresses the importance of a work ethic rather than a heavy burden of homework.
