Village Retirement Communities today appointed Kevin Horan as Administrator of its Meriden community, The Village at Kensington Place. Horan will be responsible for all aspects of facility operation including human resources, occupancy, community outreach, resident relations, security, resident services, quality assurance, safety and regulatory compliance, fiscal control and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Prior to his new position, Horan was Administrator at the Village's Brookfield, Connecticut location, The Village at Brookfield Common. Mr. Horan obtained a degree from Tunxis Community College in Farmington. He and his wife Joanne have two sons and reside in West Hartford, Connecticut.Village at Kensington Place is one of ten Village Retirement Communities offering catered retirement and assisted living, as well as assisted living for people with Alzheimer's. Village Retirement Communities, founded in 1990 by Peter and Diane Sangermano, is headquartered in Greenville, RI. The company owns and operates residences in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
