Moving to bolster its community outreach presence in the Greater Meriden area, Village at Kensington Place recently appointed Laura Gallo as Director of Community Relations. She will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relations with professionals and other community members as well as familiarizing the community with all of the lifestyle options that are available for older adults at Village at Kensington Place. Ms Gallo will also attend all community events and represent The Village at Chamber of Commerce meetings, Business After Hours events, and any other civic, fraternal or business organization events.Ms. Gallo is former Deputy Mayor of Meriden and City Councilwoman and Chairwoman of the Finance Committee of Meriden. Prior to joining the Village team, Ms. Gallo was District Manager for ADP/Total Source of Orange, CT, where she was responsible for direct sales and customer service to business owners of a Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
"Ms. Gallo is a seasoned and respected professional within the community," said Oliver Harvey, Chief Operating Officer, Village Retirement Communities. He added that the Village was pleased to add Ms. Gallo to their marketing team.
Ms. Gallo is a graduate of Middlesex Community College and resides in Meriden.
Village at Kensington Place is one of ten Village Retirement Communities offering catered retirement and assisted living, as well as assisted living for people with Alzheimer's. Village Retirement Communities, founded in 1990 by Peter and Diane Sangermano, is headquartered in Greenville, RI. The company owns and operates residences in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
