Miller Memorial Community was extremely successful ...

Miller Memorial Community was extremely successful with their Stocking Stuffer and Mitten Tree programs this holiday season. Mrs. Mildred Jepson, a resident at Miller, helped stitch many of the stockings on the Christmas tree filled with warm clothing for children living at the city's shelter. Residents of Miller, a retirement community with many levels of health care, along with staff and families, contributed freely of their time and talent to create gifts for boys and girls in need. Mittens, gloves, socks, scarves, and stocking stuffers were packaged into handmade stockings and provided to the Children at the Meriden Homeless Shelter. Wonderful little ones at the Head Start Program were the happy recipients of mittens, scarves and hats.
