Miller Memorial Community has served the community ...

Miller Memorial Community has served the community for over 30 years and continues to do so by offering a series of free monthly educational seminars on various topics of interest that are open to the public . This is a part of their wellness and awareness program and it is their way of helping members of our community make more informed decisions. The next seminar is scheduled for March 6th. Dr. Albert Geeter of the State of CT Department of Public Health will present information on the Pandemic Flu. Future topics include Title XIX & Transfers; Staying Healthy by Exercise; Medicare & STR; Advanced Directives; Stroke Prevention; Community Resources; Energy Efficiency; and Healthy Eating at the Holidays. All dates are in the Chamber Calendar; each seminar is held at 2:00 p.m. at Miller Memorial Community.
