MidState Medical Center Appoints Senior Vice President of Operations

MidState Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Cindy Russo, FACHE to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations.Mrs. Russo has held leadership positions with increasing responsibilities in the nine years that she has been at MidState. In her role as Director of Clinical Services in 2001, she was responsible for the operational and financial performance of the departments of Nursing Administration, along with many other clinical departments.
In 2006, Cindy became the President & CEO of MidState VNA. Focusing on clinical performance standards and financial improvement.
Before coming to MidState, Cindy was employed in administration positions at Yale University Health Services, Masonic Geriatric HealthCare Center and Waterbury Hospital. She graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a BSN, the Hartford Graduate Center with a MS in Health Care Administration and is Board Certified by the Ameerican College of HealthCare Executivies as an ACHE Fellow.
