MidState Medical Center was selected for National Recognition by the Great Place to Work Institute. An acute care hospital and subsidiary of Hartford HealthCare Corporation was named among the top 50 "Best Small & Medium Companies to work for in America. It was announced June 21, 2005 by the Society for Human Resource Management's. The hospital's CEO, Lucille Janatka, accepted the award on behalf of MidState.
