Girls Inc. Website Launch

September 15, 2009

Girls Incorporated of Meriden reinforced its mission of "inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold" with the recent launch of its new website and program registration system. The web-based registration software will allow families of Girls Inc. members to register for programs, events and camp as well as renew memberships online. "We're so happy to be able to offer this to the families we serve," noted Michelle Bourdeau, executive director of Girls inc. "Not only is it a convenience to families, it has streamlined our management of membership, program attendees and parent communications tremendously."

The new site was launched in conjunction with the start of the Fall 2009 program registration as well as the organization's 90th anniversary celebration. "It's always rewarding to create tools for organizations like Girls Inc. who do so much for the community for so many years," remarked Lori O'Brien, Director of Sales & Marketing at Web Solutions. "Knowing how much this will serve them and their members makes it that much more rewarding." The site was funded by the Cuno Foundation and the James H. Napier Foundation and can be viewed at www.girlsincmeriden.org.
