Among the loaned executives for the 2001-2002 campaign are Alfred S. Belanger, safety and training manager for TI Group Automotive Systems, Lisa L. Lombardi, human resources administrator at Canberra Industries, Inc. and Holly B. McCray, assistant general manager at Residence Inn by Marriott. The loaned executives will work with United Way's campaign leadership and staff. Their employers absorb the workers' salaries during their part-time assignment, which helps keep the fund-raising costs down. Campaign chairwoman Cheryl Poryanda commented that the loaning companies illustrate the commitment to the campaign from the community. The loaned executives work with company campaign coordinators conducting employee solicitation programs. They attend a summer training program familiarizing them with campaign techniques, member agencies, the fund distribution process and community planning activities.
