Thompson Candy and Rapunzel Pure Organics have co-branded a line of certified organic and kosher chocolate novelties. Foil-wrapped organic milk and semisweet chocolates will be available for Halloween, Christmas/Hanukkah, Valentine's Day and Easter. In addition, the two companies have introduced nonseasonal organic milk chocolate pandas and organic semisweet chocolates wrapped in grape- and strawberry-shaped foils.
Thompson Candy Co. is the leading manufacturer of all-natural chocolate novelties and is aggressively expanding into certified organic foods through its "Lifestyle Food Products" approach. With a 125-year tradition, Thompson products have been sold throughout the specialty food channel. Rapunzel is a recognized leader in the organic market. Its certified organic product lines include chocolate bars, Rapadura� sugar, other baking items and a variety of specialty gourmet culinary oils.
