The Barker Character, Comic and Cartoon Museum at 1118 Highland Avenue in Cheshire welcomed famous cartoonist Myron Waldman on his 91st birthday. Herb and Gloria Barker were happy to honor Myron as one of America's famous legends and icons. In 1997, Myron received the Windsor McCay Award, the highest granted to animators. Some of his characters include Popeye, Betty Boop, Superman, Casper and Pudgy.
