Record-Journal City Editor Jacqueline Smith has be ...

Record-Journal City Editor Jacqueline Smith has been granted a leave of absence until December 31st. She will be teaching journalism at the University of Hartford full-time for the fall semester. She is also an adjunct professor of journalism at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. While on leave, Ms. Smith will continue to write her bi-weekly column. Suburban Editor Eric Cotton will take over supervising coverage of Meriden and will also continue to supervise reporters covering Wallingford. Copy Editor Art Durity will supervise reporters covering Southington and Cheshire.
