As may have been noted, the Record-Journal Editorial Board has welcomed two new guest members. They are the "second semester" pair of guests for 2000, and they are the 28th and 29th guests since beginning the practice in late 1995. One is Lawrence McGoldrick, a lifelong Meriden resident, president and chief executive officer of Castle Bank and Trust Company in Meriden. The second is Walter Hushak, a long-term Southington resident who presently is the chairman of the board of the Southington Savings Bank, in post-retirement career. Our congratulations to both of these gentlemen.
