Ralph Tomaselli, managing editor for sports and features, has been promoted to managing editor of the News Department. Michael Kelly, managing editor for news, has been named associate editor. Reporter Eric Cotton has now become suburban editor. General Assignment Editor Jacqueline Smith is now City Editor, and will cover business and state government and develop articles for the Sunday edition. Four veteran employees of the Circulation Department, have also been promoted. Jeff Amero, circulation service manager, will become circulation customer service/training manager. Brigette Eroh, is now assistant customer service manager. Dan Murdzek will fill the newly created position of suburban manager. Michael Smith has been promoted to the newly created position of city manager. Circulation Director David Pare created the new positions as a result of the restructuring process he instituted two months ago. He is pleased to see local employees succeeding through dedication and hard work.
