The Record-Journal has promoted six of its staff members. Senior reporter Jacqueline R. Smith becomes general assignment editor; business writer Rich Lee becomes business editor; copy editor Rich Mason becomes night city editor; night graphics supervisor Dona Lynn becomes assistant production manager; assistant night supervior Linda Langner becomes night supervisor; and platemaker Joel Crocker becomes assistant supervisor.
