Although there aren't too many people who have no complaints about their jobs, Brian Petit comes very close. He has worked at the front desk of the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference Center on Research Parkway, for the past 1-1/2 years. He answers the telephones and assists patrons to ensure that they have an enjoyable stay at the Hotel. Mr. Petit learned early that a pleasant demeanor is a trait that allows him to calm patrons under stress. Other duties include running housekeeping reports, counting the drawer, running reports to determine guests who are in-house, directing calls, taking reservations, giving directions and helping people out. Mr. Petit started in the hotel business nearly 15 years ago and would like to continue to work his way up the hotel ladder.
