We recently finished our annual collection of shoeboxes filled with basic commodities and small toys for Operation Christmas Child/Samaritans Purse. We collect them for children all over the world to be delivered during Christmas. We collected 2,482 shoeboxes this year! That's 2,482 children that will be blessed this year just from this community. We want to THANK all our Midstate Chamber friends for volunteering time or packing a shoebox. Thank you American Eagle Financial Credit Union , The Curtis Home and A&A Office Systems for putting out collection boxes. Thank you PROSHRED of Wallingford for sending a truck and driver to deliver all our cartons to the collection site.
