Ion Bank announces temporary lobby closures.

November 18, 2020

Ion Bank announces temporary lobby closures as of 11/23/20.

After closely monitoring the COVID situation in the area and throughout the state, it has been decided that we will temporarily be closing branch lobbies to walk-in customers for the safety and security of our employees, customers and communities we serve.

Beginning on Monday, November 23, all branch lobbies will be closed until further notice. Drive-up and Personal Teller Machines (PTMs) will be available so that we can continue to serve you while maintaining a safe distance. Please note that our Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck office will be closed in its entirety and no customer or client appointments will be available at that location.

Please call your local branch to schedule appointments for safe deposit access, wire transfers, important document processing and other financial matters that cannot be accommodated online and we will be happy to assist you.

Our PTMs connect you to a live Personal Banker via video technology. They are available at every branch (vestibule and/or drive-up) and have extended hours of 7am-8pm Monday-Friday and 7am-3pm Saturday. As always, our Online Banking, Mobile App, Bank-by-Phone, and ATMS are available 24/7.

Our Contact Center can assist you during the hours of 7am to 8pm Monday-Friday and 7am to 3pm on Saturday and can be reached at 203.729.4442.

Please remember to guard your confidential information. Ion Bank will never call or email you to ask for your PIN, account number, or Social Security number.

Thank you for your continued trust in Ion Bank. Be well and stay safe.
