Naugatuck Savings Bank Names Local Resident As New Vice President

Naugatuck Savings Bank has named a local resident with more than 20 years of experience in the banking and financial industries as its new vice president of business banking. Christine Koster, of Naugatuck, has joined the bank's Commercial Lending Department where she will work closely with local businesses to assist them in managing their finances, said Jayne D. Kelly, the senior vice president of the Commercial Lending Department.

Prior to joining Naugatuck Savings Bank, Koster worked for 15 years in the business banking group at RSB-Citizens Bank where she was responsible for building relationships with the bank's business clients in both New Haven and Fairfield Counties.

Koster began her banking career in Southampton, N.Y., before she and her husband, Peter, moved to Connecticut in 1994. She is an avid supporter and member of the Friends of Hammonasset organization, which works to protect and preserve Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison. She is also an advocate of the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, the world's oldest and largest private cancer center.
