World Book Web Now Available Online Through the Meriden Public Library
July 8, 2014
Meriden Public Library has recently subscribed to World Book Web, the online version of World Book. Now you can access World Book from anywhere, just by using your library card. The World Book Web offers more than standard encyclopedia information. There are "Virtual tours" such as exploring the Titanic or museums around the world, "Interactive Earth" which explores the earth with interactive maps and an atlas, "Science projects" to find lots of projects and experiments to try, "Biography Center" to find information about world leaders, athletes, authors, inventors, explorers, and painters. Click here to access World Book Web, go to the Research page and scroll down to find World Book Web. Be sure to have your library card ready. Happy researching.
