Early Literacy Storytimes at the Meriden Public Library

Early Literacy Storytimes will continue in the Children's Library at Meriden Public Library until Thursday, February 13th. Storytime experiences can help develop critical early literacy skills such as print awareness and print motivation, letter knowledge, phonological awareness, vocabulary and narrative skills. Children (and parents) will also have the opportunity to socialize and make new friends.- Babies - 24 mo.: Thursdays, 10:30am - 2's: Tuesdays, 10:15am - 2-3's: Wednesdays, 6:30pm - 3 yr old with parent: Wednesdays, 10:30am - 3-4's: Tuesdays, 11:15am, 1:15pm, 6:30pm; Wednesdays, 11:15am
There are openings in all storytime programs.. Parents can register by calling the Children's Library at (203) 630-6347 or stopping by the Children's Information Desk.
