CT Junior Republic Holds Successful Golf Tournament

The CJR Invitational Golf Benefit was held at the Torrington Country Club on a perfect June day, and raised $75,000 in net proceeds. With this year's funds, the CJR Invitational has raised more than $1 million in net proceeds to benefit the Connecticut Junior Republic (CJR) since it was established in 1996. Nearly 300 golf participants, sponsors and event volunteers contributed to the success of the 2011 event.Proceeds will benefit the more than 1,000 boys, girls and families that CJR helps annually in ten locations throughout Connecticut.
