Past 12 Months Highlights

July 20, 2011

We would like to share just a few accomplishments we celebrated over the past 12 months.

Among the most recent highlights: -The further of our Torrington-based community Program witch now serves more than 200 children and families throughout northwest Connecticut.

-The opening of two new Family Support Centers in Meriden and New Britain

-Accreditation of CJR's Academic and Vocational Education center in Litchfield by the New England Association of Schools and Collages(NEASC)

Our Litchfield Residential Program is now serving approximately 24 young men annually. It is the first such program in the nation to use Multidimensional Family Therapy in its treatment model. MDFT aims to engage both boys and their families in support services so our young men can return to their homes as quickly and successfully as possible. Boys in the program have shown remarkable progress after returning to their homes, schools and communities throughout Connecticut.

CJR has been through some challenging times, but we're proud to say we have entered an era of renewed growth, vitality and sense of purpose. Please help us sustain our momentum- and learn more about how you can help the hundreds of needy and disadvantaged kids we serve.
