April is National Parkinson's Disease Awareness Month. Parkinson's Disease is a neurodegenerative disorder in the brain. 50-60,000 new case are diagnosed every year. It affects muscles and motor-skills. Many people have it as a slowly-progressing disease.In honor of this month, Golden Horizons will be posting some information on Parkinson's Disease. Stay tuned.
