Flu Tips from Golden Horizons

September marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall, and while flu season doesn't technically start until October, it's best to be prepared. Influenza is a viral infection spread through direct and air transmission. While similar to a common cold, flu symptoms tend to be more severe. They include fever, cough, sore throat, runny/stuffy nose, body and headaches, chills, tiredness, and nausea/vomiting/diarrhea (most common in children). If you do get the flu, stay home and rest.
