Masonicare Names Dr. Christopher Lathrop of Hamden Director of Rehabilitation Services for Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford

Dr. Lathrop has several years of experience in the field of occupational therapy. He received a BS and an MS degree from the University of New England and a doctorate in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University. He also certified in hand therapy, and recently completed the long-term care administrator's certificate program. His previous experience includes working with patients in private orthopedic clinics.

In making the announcement, Ms. Schoen said, "Chris has a strong background in both the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation service areas, and his expertise and leadership skills are welcome additions to our Rehabilitations Services Department. His first major goal is to assist in expansion of our newly-refurbished outpatient rehabilitation suite and gym in our on-campus medical office building." Dr. Lathrop and his partner, are residents of Hamden.
