Tracey LeMay of Northford Named Vice President for Masonicare

Tracey LeMay, BSN, has been promoted to Vice President, Risk Management and Corporate Compliance, for Wallingford-based Masonicare. Stephen B. McPherson, Masonicare's President and CEO, made the announcement.

Ms. LeMay has extensive experience in managing professional and general liability claims for several acute care hospitals and long-term care facilities. She joined Masonicare's Risk Management Department in 2004 and was promoted to Director of Risk Management in 2005. In her new role as Vice President, Ms. LeMay will have oversight for Masonicare's risk management, legal services and all corporate compliance activities, including policies and procedures, Workers' Compensation initiatives and various insurance programs. In this expanded role, Ms. LeMay will join Masonicare's Executive Management Team.

Ms. LeMay earned her B.S. degree in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University. She is President-elect of the Connecticut Society for Healthcare Risk Management (CSHRM), serves on the Parent Activity Committee of the Masonic Child Development Center, and is involved with the West Haven Adult Daycare Auxiliary. Ms. LeMay and her husband, Randy, and their two children live in Northford.

In making the announcement, Mr. McPherson praised Ms. LeMay's valuable contributions to Masonicare during her tenure. "We are most fortunate to have someone with Tracey's knowledge and expertise assume this important role within our organization. Her past performance and proven abilities uniquely qualify her to take on these added responsibilities. She's a welcome addition to our executive management team."
