Doreen G. Palmer, RN, a resident of East Haddam, recently joined Connecticut VNA as the community liaison for the organization's East Hartford office. Palmer will work with Connecticut VNA's statewide team of healthcare marketing professionals, promoting a wide range of services, including the specialty areas of wound care, mental health and hospice services.Guy Tommasi, director of homecare marketing for Connecticut VNA, said, "We are very pleased to have someone with Doreen's experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry join our team. She understands that people prefer to receive quality care at home, whenever possible, and she will be a strong advocate for Connecticut VNA's programs and services and their compassionate, patient-centered approach to home healthcare.
