5th Annual Senior Art Show

Seniors Have Dreams Too will be holding their 5th Annual Senior Art Show on October 6, 2011 at the Augusta Curtis Cultural Center, 175 East Main Street, Meriden From 5-8 P.M.The foundation is looking for senior artists, 55 and older, to exhibit and sell their art work and/or crafts. The goal is to show the public the aging process doesn't mean giving up but being creative or doing the things one loves.
Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary is the featured speaker. Peter, Paul and Mary were an American folk-singing trio who became one of the biggest musical acts of the 1960's. Tickets will be available at the door and through area businesses to be announced. Tickets will be $25 for general admission and $15 for seniors and students. Seniors have Dreams Too, inc. is a non-profit foundation that grants wishes to seniors of limited means.
