The Connecticut Pastel Society will present its exhibit of over 90 paintings at Gallery 53 of the Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden March 9 through March 30. The opening reception and awards are March 9 from 2 - 4 p.m. The exhibit will include pastel paintings of still life portraits, landscapes, and sea scapes in traditional style. There will be a musical event sponsored by Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden and the Meriden Arts Council on March 9th with Stan Sullivan, singer, songwriter playing acoustical guitar at 2:15 p.m. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday noon - 4 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. For more information call 203-235-5347 or visit http://www.ACAMGallery53.homestead.com/.
