The Arts & Crafts Association of Meriden will hold its annual juried theme show - this year - "Patterns & Contrasts" - at Gallery 53 from February 10th -28th. The judge is artist John Frazer, a retired Wesleyan University professor. Opening reception Sunday February 10th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Awards ceremony at 3:00 p.m. It's an exhibit of varied media subjects and insights. Also, a music program will take place Sunday at 2:15 p.m. with singer-songwriter Lara Herscovitch. This performance is part of the new music series hosted by the Meriden Arts Council and the Arts & Crafts Association. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday from Noon to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 53 Colony Street, Meriden, next to Butler's Paint Store and across from the first Congregational Church.
