Gallery 53 March Events

Gallery 53, 53 Colony Street, Meriden, will host the Connecticut Pastel Society Member's Show March 1-29. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday March 1, 2-4 P.M.

Gallery 53 which is a part of the Meriden Arts and Crafts Association, offers Classes for both adult and children, workshops, open studio spaces, knitting classes and special events. Adult classes include: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mixed media, and a live model class.

Children's classes are: Art and Science, Fine Art Follies and Beadmaking. Gallery 53 also offers group and team building workshops. The Knitting Club and Nutmeg Knitting Guild meet in the upstairs conference room. Open studio and conference room space is available for individuals and groups. The Artisan Gift Shop is open during all Gallery 53 hours.
