"From The Garden to The Wall" - a Floral Themed Show at Gallery 53

During the month of July Gallery 53, 53 Colony St. Meriden will host "From The Garden To The Wall". This floral themed show exhibits flowers and gardens through the eyes of artists using various media such as painting, acrylics, photography and sculptures. The show will run from July 13 - 27 with the Opening Reception on Sunday, July 14 from 1 :00 to 3:00. As part of this show, the Wallingford Garden Club will provide live floral arrangements on July 13 and 14.

Summer art classes are forming for youth and teens. A children's clay class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 23 - August , with a final class day on August 22. Classes run from 3:00 - 5:00. Two Teen classe sessions will be offered July 22 - 26 and on July 29 - August 4. These will provide morning and afternoon classes for Drawing and Design, Sculpting, Mosaics and Monoprints. Teen classes are limited to the first 10 to register.

The Artisian Gift Shop is open during business hours and during all Gallery 53 events. Open Studio Space is available for artists to work individually or in groups.
