LeClair and Garzone Exhibit at Gallery 53

The Arts and Crafts Association of Meriden will be hosting an exhibition for Laura LeClair and Pam Garzone from April 5th through the 26th at Gallery 53, located at 53 Colony Street. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 5th from 2:00 � 5:00PM. "Night Landscapes" is the theme of Pam Garzone's paintings. She has created the mood for these pieces by combining strong color contrasts, use of space and expressive mark-making with pastels and oil sticks. Laura LeClair's oil portraits reflect her personal experience and respect for the spirit of the "Industrial Worker". The artists are natives of Two Rivers, Wisconsin and moved to Connecticut 25 years ago. Laura LeClaire, who lives in Bristol and Pam Garzone, who resides in Meriden, will both be graduating in the spring of 2008 with a Master of Art Education degree from Central Connecticut State University.

Gallery 53 has been serving the community for over 100 years, is a non-profit organization, committed to promoting and encouraging appreciation of the arts by means of educational programs, exhibits, workshops and lectures.
