LaRosa Construction is seeking a Full-Time Mechanic

LaRosa Construction, a family-owned Construction Company located in Meriden, CT, is actively seeking a full-time mechanic.

About Us

LaRosa Construction is a general site contracting company that offers a multitude of site services in the Connecticut area. We are currently completing construction on a brand new shop which will offer four oversized bays and ample storage, conveniently located off of route 15 in Meriden. We've been family-owned for 70 years, providing our employees with competitive salaries, a full suite of insurance benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and profit-sharing.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, diesel, and light-duty vehicles. You must have the ability to troubleshoot and have proficiency in electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, engine, and mechanical components and be able to work independently. Familiarity with the construction industry and heavy equipment experience is a must.

You must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. CDL is preferred but not required.

This position will offer a highly competitive salary, depending on ability and experience, with opportunities for additional overtime earnings and the potential for a salary increase after 90 days.
