Kuhn Employment Opportunities, Inc. has announced that Ms. Damita Kimble has joined the organization as its new Manager of Work Services & Community Experience Programs. The programs enable Kuhn participants with developmental disabilities to improve and use vocational skills within a workshop or community activity setting. Ms. Kimble will be responsible for the development and implementation of these services including the overall supervision of program personnel, management of outcomes measurements, contact with appropriate agencies, residential providers and family members as well as other day-to-day operations.Kimble brings with her over 15 years of program and agency experience including the management of residential facilities for recovering women, on-call and crisis intervention services, counseling and case management, budgeting and the hiring, supervision and training of support staff. Ms. Kimble has previously held supervisory positions at the Community Renewal Team in Hartford, the Bethphage Mission East in West Hartford and the Immanuel Group Residence in Hartford. She participated in the Human Services program at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She resides in Simsbury, Connecticut.
Kuhn Employment Opportunities is a nationally accredited not-for-profit organization providing training and employment opportunities to people with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.
