The Kiwanis Club of Meriden presents the 2021 Souper Bowl

The Kiwanis Club of Meriden and our family of school- and community-based Service Leadership Programs are proud to announce the 5th annual Souper Bowl food drive for the Meriden Soup Kitchen, now until February 6. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Meriden Soup Kitchen is open and providing meals-to-go to those in need. They need our support and the Meriden Kiwanis Family is stepping up to coordinate a city-wide food drive.

Four easy ways to donate: In-school Food Drives, Community Drop-off Bins, Soup Kitchen Drop-off or Donate through Venmo.

Food Items needed at the Meriden Soup Kitchen:

? Canned vegetables (corn, carrots, green beans) ? Canned or boxed basic soups such as chicken noodle, vegetable, tomato ? Canned or boxed broths such as vegetable, chicken, beef ? Instant potatoes ? Rice ? Tuna fish ? Macaroni and cheese ? Apple sauce ? Italian salad dressing ? Baked beans, pork & beans, kidney beans, cannellini beans, garbanzo beans ? Canned or bottled pasta sauce ? Crushed or diced tomatoes ? Individual servings of drinks such as water, juice, soda ? Pasta such as elbow, ziti, penne, rigatoni ? Parmesan cheese, hot sauce, salt, mayonnaise
