The Home Store Real Estate Celebrates Its 14th Anniversary

The Home Store Real Estate celebrates its 14th anniversary this month, announced Joe Criscuolo, owner/broker. Joe is ranked among the top percentage of Realtors in Connecticut. Connecticut is one just 13 states that saw a more-than-20% increase in average house prices over the past year, a climb experts say is tied to heightened demand because of the pandemic. The average price of a single family home in Connecticut has risen by 20.05% since last year. Everyone keeps asking when the market will have a correction?? Buyer demand is still extremely high, supply is limited and interest rates have only slightly increased. It appears that 2022 will be a repeat of 2021 except with slightly lower home appreciation. Rents have skyrocketed which is also fueling demand.
According to Realtor.com for November 2021, most sellers sold their homes for at or above their asking price and a sizable portion (24%) received an all-cash offer.
